Heroin and cycling, who knew they had so much in common.

Taken a little over 18 months to do this for someone; pretty awful really, but been busy thinking about what I should be busy doing.  

Not finding much time to do art at the minute; but when I do I enjoy it more.

Does art have to come with a description, or can colour alone talk to you?

I did a series of illustrations for a feminist/fashion/topical/slash blog called 'The Crown Rules'. I'm definitely a republican (not the American politics type) as I feel monarchies are elitist and shouldn't really exist in a democracy.

I haven't done many digital artwork pieces recently, I much prefer painting. You can tell the amount of effort gone into this is minimal.

This painting doesn't quite match the brief, perhaps that's why I make art rather than design things. Yorkshire is a massive influence in my art now, but the most important reason I make my art is because I want to create something.

Life is a curious adventure. I love it, most of the time.

To say I'm at a crossroads would be an understatement. This one is titled 'Rodeo'.

My paintings are getting looser and two topics keep appearing, deforestation, and the (lack of) companionship. Not sure any of us would last long without them. I'm going to call this 'Big Axe'.
